I have had a real tree my whole life. Preferably large, full, wonderfully smelling Christmas trees, but sometimes a Charlie Brown tree (during college when I had very little money). This was my first year with an artificial tree. I knew that I needed to find something that was high quality or I would be really disappointed. I am so happy with this tree. It looks very real and is very full. I like how sturdy the branches are for my ornaments and also how I can adjust the branches to make it look fuller and more realistic. Not having to crawl under the tree every few days to water it is going to make me love it even more this Christmas season. The gloves that were included made it more pleasant to set up (for my husband!) and the storage bag will be nice to have at the end of the season.

I had seen the commercials about these beautiful trees and for years thought I should buy one. Friends of mine posted on fb a pic of their tree and when I asked where they got it they said Balsam Hill. That evening I looked at the site and chose the 7.5' Blue Spruce unlit which was $400 off. It was shipped immediately and I had it in two days. When I got the tree I was so impressed with box, how it was packed, the instructions with gloves to protect my hands while fixing the branches and how to take it a part and cleaning it before putting it in the included storage bag. It is heavier than most which keeps it in place and the stand is sturdy. It came in three pieces where the branches fold down into place once I untied the ribbon. It looks real, is big and I love it so much I do not want to take it down.

The tree height and diameter advertised are a little deceiving. The height is based on a single 8-10" long center branch where you might place a star. If you don't plan to use a star you might want to go to the next larger tree. The diameter is measured the same way. You have to stretch the longest single branches to their extreme to match the diameter measurement. My tree is advertised as 60" in diameter but the maximum diameter I could measure was 52". The tree looks great and is full enough if you spend the time to shape all the branches.

Really pleased with our tree. What really stood out was how it was all packaged, can tell it was a quality product with all the ribbons holding it all together in the box.

Instructions were really clear, we couldn't have went wrong at all, especially with the tags on each part of the assembly.

Really liked all the customer phone numbers on the box to call them on if there were any issues , got a good feel when I saw this.

After easy installation it looked brilliant. Perfect size and looks great in our bay window in the living room. We purchase a basket to go round the base with our old tree but it was too small. Fortunately we kept it and it fits our new tree.

Yes, they are more than average in cost but it's worth it. We've had our old tree for 16 years so I worked it out for the price per year and it wasn't much, considered it an investment!

Lastly, there wasn't one need that came off during assembly so I'm fully expecting this one to last me till retirement :)
