Be aware that the measurement of 4.5.feet means from the floor--including stand--up to the tree top. The branches don't start until 9 inches from the floor, so the tree is really just 45 inches of foliage. As I was assembling it, some of the clips that hold the electric wire to the branches fell off. Had to re-attach those. The foot pedal for on-off is a nice touch. BH also provides lots of accessories and spare bulbs, which is good. Overall you can probably get a better deal if you shop around.

Decided it was time to downsize the tree size. This is my second tree purchase from Balsam Hill. This cute little tree caught my eye and it's perfect. It can be seen from our window and is seated on the floor. If you have a big enough table could also be placed on that. If you plan on using a lighted tree topper I suggest you purchase the tree with clear lights. My sister purchased the exact same tree except with candlelight lights, it has no plug to plug in for a lighted tree topper. So she solved her problem by purchasing a battery operated tree topper. I think my twinkles a bit more too☺

We did a trial set up. All the lights worked and it seems like it's going to be lovely. Balsam Hill really does it right. They included the gloves and all of the proper instructions not like the ones we used to. Of course, you pay the price for that. It was nice to be able to treat ourselves as we age. We are planning to put it on a table, of course. We don't really know how we will like it until it's all decorated and we do not have time to do that before Thanksgiving as we are expecting 40 guests. Maybe I will write a more-detailed review later.

My bank account told me it was a great sale but you'll still have to get the short tree. I love it. It is a very pretty tree with plenty of lights. I ordered Magnolia topper to add a couple of feet, it is also beautiful. BH has everything in mind from set up to a bag large enough to put the tree in for storage. Received first class service even though my purchase was not for a large amount.
