A decent small coffee maker

I bought this machine discount for Black Friday. It seems to be pretty easy and I will tell you when it needs descaling which I like. It’s simple. The drip tray won’t tell you when it’s full though. It doesn’t have the bobber like the older one used to, and when you fill up the removable clear plastic reservoir with 16 ounces of water and you only use 8 ounces, and if you go to use the rest of the water, it will tell you to add water even though there’s still water in there. I’ve tried the 8 ounce. I’ve tried the 6 ounce and even the tenants should still leave you with 6 ounces of water for tea or coffee or soup that doesn’t require cooking or instant oatmeal. Basically anything you need hot water for and apparently you can buy a separate water filter. I might look into that in the future. And again, the thing only makes one cup of coffee, but you can fit numerous sizes if you remove the drip tray which I like because I have 10 ounce cups of coffee that are slender and I have 10 ounce cups of coffee that are normal coffee cups, and it also has room for most Small thermoses at least 10 ounces because this thing will only make a small 6 ounce a small 8 ounce, and a kind of small 10 ounce. It leaves room for creamer and sugar in most coffee cups. Most of the time. The 6 ounce won’t fill up your glass all the way for tea or espresso maybe
Stopped working suddenly after only 5.5 weeks

I was really looking forward to having this simple and slim design Keurig on my countertop because my Keurig 2.0 was much larger and beginning to wear out after 8 years. Everything was fine until we got up and went to make our morning cup of coffee and it would NOT brew the coffee at all. After only 5.5 weeks of having this coffeemaker it just went kaput on us and we have no idea why. We tried ALL of the troubleshooting things they said to but, to no avail. I’m one of those people who absolutely MUST HAVE atleast 1 cup of coffee ☕ in the morning or my day starts off frustrating. The reason I gave the 1 stars are because (imo) for a KEURIG coffeemaker, I think this one is a little cheaply made. The plastic feels as if it might crack or break if you don’t handle it with the utmost care. I expected better than this from a Keurig product. My 2.0 machine is stout and sturdy! I miss that. The other 1star is because it has just STOPPED brewing on us and no matter what we tried, it will not brew. You can hear it like it’s TRYING to get water to brew or something but, it’s just gone defective on us. For this reason I can’t recommend it to anyone. Walmart has been ever so awesome though. I wrote just yesterday about the machine and they have another one out for delivery to us TODAY! 😃 Now THAT is some EXCELLENT SERVICE! Walmart, we always love ❤ you.😆…Even if an item doesn’t meet our expectations. I can’t tell you what this super fast replacement of our coffeemaker means to us. It’s the difference of starting our day off on the right foot with our hot cup of coffee. Ok,.. I think I covered everything. 😊
Hmmmmm, lots of thoughts

I like it okay, I guess. My son bought for me either last year or the year before even though I have another coffeemaker that makes either a pot or the K-type cup coffee. He has been the main one using the Keurig. I had cleaned it a few times using vinegar but this time, it totally stopped working after I finished the rinsing cycle. I tried to find a solution to fix it, and some people have been able to, but we couldn't even get it apart to try to push the re-set button that is inside. While researching this, I came across several videos and articles about this happening to many people, which leads me to believe that there is some kind of design flaw with these machines. I think it's so dumb to have a re-set button inside of something like this instead of it being accessible. Feels deceptive to me and a way to get you to just buy another one.

Anyway, to this one. I bought this to replace the other one that broke. I got it because my son likes it, and he will be moving out soon so he can take it with him. This came up as an early Black Friday deal. I thought maybe it was on sale for only that day so I decided to go on and order it. I wanted to get a certain color but when I clicked on the color I wanted, it said they were out of stock. I decided to go with something else. The next day, I was surprised to see that they were still on sale so I went to see if I could order the color I wanted. It irritates me that the color I wanted was available. Now, I received this within a day or so it didn't come from a long way. I was also in our local Walmart a couple of days ago and saw this on that sale in the store. They had every color available. Had I known it wasn't an internet only special, I would have waited and got it when I went shopping. I just don't like how they presented this sale.
Wait until it's on sale before you buy.

It has pros and cons. I deducted two stars for the cons: 1) Extremely stiff power cord, 2) removeable water tank is not as easy to properly replace as it should be, 3) brewing process is not as quiet as some reviewers are saying.

I ordered this in Red initially but it is a weird shade of red that didn't fit in my red, white and black kitchen. So, I returned that for Black, which is okay looking but nothing special.

This Keurig earns three stars because of its ease of use and the fact that it makes excellent coffee and does it fast. I got a couple reusable K-cups so I can use my own coffee blends but I also got some pre-filled disposable cups and the coffee is fantastic either way.

The machine is loud when it brews, though not as loud as others that I have tried. It isn't annoyingly or excessively loud, but some reviews say it brews quietly so I thought I should mention that that might not be the case with the one you get.

I got this on sale so I am happy with my purchase. I would recommend this single-serve Keurig without hesitation as long as you are aware that it isn't perfect. It is a good buy for under $30 but I personally do not feel it is worth more. I would have returned it if I had paid full price.
