Meet the Reindeers - and Father Christmas!

Santa and Reindeer

9 December 2023, Market Square, Dover

Thank you to everyone who turned out in the wind and rain.

Unfortunately our market had to cancel and the dancers and choir were postponed but that didn't stop Dover coming out!  Our grotto and arts/crafts were swiftly moved into Dover museum and as numbers grew out came our umbrellas to cover those queueing outside.

Luckily the weather improved in the afternoon and the Eythorne Silver Band entertained everyone, along with our very popular Gingerbread man and Christmas tree.

The very naughty Grinch stole the show (luckily not Christmas) much to the delight of all the children.

Feedback, both on social media and our feebdack forms was fantastic.

THANK YOU - we are so pleased you enjoyed the day.

FREE - No booking required

We have some very special guests coming to Dover - two reindeers will be visiting us from the Bethersden Reindeer Centre.

Come along and have a chat with the handlers and learn all about the reindeers - some lucky visitors will also get the opportunity to feed them.

Meet Father Christmas - FREE

Father Christmas and his elves will be in our grotto ready to meet children and pose for photos.

Father Christmas has 600 FREE GIFT BAGS for children which include a huge gingerbread biscuit, Christmas story book, Gingerbread man crayons and Christmas activity sheets.
