Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?”  Then said I, Here I am. Send Me.

BOLGATANGA

Northern Region, Ghana

On November 15, 2013, we traveled farther to Upper East Region of Ghana to Bolgatanga. Like Tamale, Bolgatanga is predominantly Islamic in their spiritual identity.

Two Assemblies of God Churches, Peace Assemblies of God and Holy Ghost Temple Central Assemblies,  gave us a warm welcome. AIM teamed up with Peace Assemblies to hold a two night open air crusade, openly preaching and professing salvation through Christ Jesus. Although Bolgatanga is a small community, the Lord moved mightily to bring about thirty souls to the Kingdom, two of which converted from Islam to Christianity. We continued our work at Holy Ghost Temple Central Assembles, where a revival broke out among the believers; many prayed and crying out for more unction to evangelize in seemingly unfavorable surroundings.

In the same way, there is more joy in heaven

over one lost sinner who repents and returns to God than over nainety-nine others who are righteous and haven't strayed away!

- Luke 15:7
