RATTRY PARK - KUMASI GHANA... A NICE PLACE TO BE THIS XMAS

Where to hang out during this festive season has been on my mind for sometime. I have thought of many lovely and beautiful places in Kumasi Ghana and the one that fascinates me most is the Rattry Park which is located in the center of Kumasi City. An interesting place to be during this Xmas.

The park was constructed not long ago In Kumasi, the capital town of Ashanti Region. The City is known for its popular title.. "The Garden City" This is because we have many beautiful trees and forest and as result there was the need to have a special park within the city to portray this title. The place provides a serene and conducive atmosphere for both adults and children to hang around and have fun.

This ultra modern recreational park was named after Captain Robert Sutherland Rattry, a Scottish and an early Africanist, who was a student of the Ashanti and Assistant Colonial Secretary in Gold Coast.
The park has a playground and a gym for children and even adults, the availability of WiFi for one to browse, a magnificent artificial lake and a large dancing fountain that everyone who visit the park loves to see. There are restaurants for visitors to buy many assorted foods.

Christmas is a time of joy so I wouldn't miss the chance of visiting there soon... let's have fun... Merry Christmas
