Hotel is showing its age...

I've been coming to this hotel since 2016 once or twice a year. I bring groups of 8 to 10 so we occupy several rooms each time. For the past three years, the hotel is showing its age. In each room I observe wear of furniture (sometimes some is missing), walls could use fresh coat of paint, floors and elevators worn. Most disappointed with the exercise room. It is too small, the AC is not working properly, and several pieces of equipment are worn out or not functioning properly. There are never any towels available early in the morning (suggestion: place small not large towels in exercise room). On the other hand, staff is generally always friendly. Tries to help and solve problems. Food and food service is good. Transportation to airport is convenient and professional.

I was charge a for asking for a late check out which I knew I was entitled to. I was given only one towel even though it was two guest staying. The telephone in the room was not working so we couldn’t even call reception. I was so disappointed.

This is against our service standard, and rest assured the needful is being done to avoid future occurrence. We equally apologize for the lack of communication at the reception regarding the temporal challenge with our phones and with the late checkout. Our classic members are entitled to a complimentary late checkout up to 2 hours after checkout time; and subject to availability. I have informed the front office team about the misunderstanding, and they are looking into the matter. We appreciate you bringing these issues to our attention, and it is our hope that you will give us the opportunity to serve you better in the near future. Sincerely,
